The Morimoto XB Headlights are DOT compliant with all FVMSS108 regulations for on-road use in the USA.DRL Optics: The turn signals and daytime running lights illuminate modern 3D-TIR optics with special optical surface textures that enhance intensity at a distance, no matter day or night. These easily out-shine the low-tech daytime running lights found in most every other aftermarket headlight for the Corvette, including our previous gen units. Their unique sidewall texture adds extra depth to the overall appearance of the light. It’s the details that count.Easy to Personalize: The signal swap system allows users to personalize how the daytime running lights and turn signals operate according to personal preference, all through a simple plug n play key on the back of each headlight. The DRL can be configured to run full-time in either white or amber with no compromise in intensity either way. The turn signals can operate sequentially from side to side, or in a more traditional on-off mode with an elegant fade-off effect.Start up Sequence: When starting your Corvette, the DRL Optics will automatically illuminate in a multi-stage sequence when coming to life. Unlike every other feature baked into the XB Gen IIheadlights, this does absolutely nothing to improve performance.
