The GEN-Y Hitch The Boss (Torsion-Flex) 16k Drop Hitch (2" or 2.5" Shank) is the innovative fusion of the MEGA-DUTY drop hitch and TORSION-FLEX technology. The BOSS can apply to customers anywhere from construction contractors and municipality fleets, to anyone that needs to hook up to multiple trailers. In addition to being heavy-duty, fully adjustable, and versatile, the BOSS also contains rubber torsion arms. Therefore, only 10% of the trailer inertia transfers compared to 100% when using a hard connection hitch. The 90% smoother ride allows you to glide instead of bounce, therefore increasing gas mileage. Since the tow vehicle and trailer track independently, customers gain greater control and safety through the reduction in sway and trailer bounce. Customers also secure greatly increased braking control because all of the weight on the tow vehicle and trailer is distributed evenly. Bumps, potholes, curves, hills, and even other drivers can be a hazard, and the BOSS keeps you under control when confronted with these conditions. Additionally, this product reduces metal fatigue caused by traditional towing that takes a toll on the trailer and its contents. Consequently, the BOSS increases the quality of life and holds value, ensuring that everyone (family, friends, and livestock) arrives alive.

All GEN-Y Hitch products are rigorously tested and exceed the SAE-J684 Weight Testing Requirements. Never exceed recommended capacity on any trailer tow coupling or vehicle receiver hitch.
Tow capacity is limited by lowest rated component.
Average break-in period for hitch = 500 miles.
*If you are towing with a pintle ring trailer, use 2 5/16″ ball, NOT 2″ ball when towing.

Instructions are included for most parts that require any sort of knowledge to install.
Here's what to do if your parts come WITHOUT instructions:
1. Some parts are genuinely common sense on how they get installed
2. If you can't figure it out on your own, YOUTUBE IS YOUR FRIEND! Our founder started this company from learning how to build headlights off a YouTube Video
3. If there are no videos on YouTube, or instructions anywhere on Google then please CALL OR EMAIL US and we will guide you through or get you instructions from the manufacturer
4. Doing installs on your own is always fun, but sometimes, it isn't. Always consider having your parts professionally installed
ALWAYS CONSIDER US. We sold you the parts, let us install them at THE LAB in Connecticut. We offer enclosed and open cross country transportation.
Of course you won't want to spend thousands on transportation to install lug nuts or emblems but if you are spending a LOT of money on parts, you may just want to send the car our way
What is your return policy if the part doesn’t fit or isn’t what I expected?
If the part was NOT installed, we accept returns within 14 days of delivery.
If the part WAS installed (or attempted installation), we cannot accept a return.
Do your parts come with a warranty?
All parts come with Manufacturer Warranty! Each manufacturer has different warranties so we suggest reading up on their warranty policy before ordering.
I found a better price somewhere else, can you beat it?
