We've embraced this change and developed a new mount that keeps a 12,000LB winch still tucked behind the factory plastic bumper, but still adds reinforcement, utility and safe recovery points to the front of your van.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis mount is also backwards compatible to 2019 model year vans, for customers looking for a less-stealthy version of our winch mount.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs the winch moved forward the familiar shape of our mount has had to change, allowing us to incorporate some new features like a bolt on bull bar for light mounting and added protection. A 2 Inch receiver tube is now welded to the mount for the convenience of carrying a light-duty cargo rack, storing a rack while camping to access the rear, and ease of maneuvering a trailer.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFull functionality of the Mb safety systems is retained.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOur winch bumper retains the side impact protection the factory bumper provides. It attaches to the (8) 8MM bolts on front of the chassis and (2) 12MM on the bottom.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe bottom 12MM bolts are past the crumple zone of the chassis. This helps to strengthen the mounting of this winch mount to ensure the chassis will hold up to heavy pulls and the mount will not flex.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe winch mount includes 3\/4 Inch thick steel tow points.
